Our Teen Advisory Group (TAG), a new initiative starting Summer 2025. TAG is a committee made up of representatives from various high schools who participate in meaningful discussions and planning efforts related to mental health awareness, advocacy, and community engagement.

TAG is open to all high school students who live or attend school in St. Clair County who are interested in mental health advocacy and community service. Each high school may have up to two student representatives.

Members meet monthly at St. Clair County Community Mental Health, 3111 Electric Avenue, Port Huron (may rotate meetings to other SCCCMH offices in Marine City and Capac based on committee decision).  Members will provide feedback on mental health resources, contribute to youth-led awareness campaigns, and collaborate on initiatives that promote mental well-being.

With mental health concerns being a growing priority for our youth, this group offers students an opportunity to be directly involved in shaping outreach efforts and addressing barriers to mental health support within their schools and communities. By participating, students will gain leadership experience, advocacy skills, and an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
