Your first visit is the foundation to building the relationship between you and your treatment care team. During this appointment we will ask important information to help better understand your needs. You can save some time by completing the registration forms in advance and bringing them with you to your first visit.
Individual Centered Care
What to expect
When you arrive at St. Clair County Community Mental Health, you will be greeted by a receptionist who will ask you to sign in and provide some basic information about yourself. After a short wait in the waiting area, you will be called into a room where you will meet with one of our mental health professionals. The mental health professional will ask you some questions to try and gain an understanding of your situation. This may include questions about your medical history, your current symptoms, and your personal life. Once the mental health professional has gained an understanding of your situation, they will work with you and a treatment team to develop a treatment plan. This may include individual or group therapy, medication management, or other forms of treatment.
It is important to keep in mind that everyone's experience at St. Clair County Community Mental Health will be different. However, you can expect to be treated with compassion, respect, and professionalism by all staff members
