We are excited to offer an upcoming training opportunity with Britt Pionk from RESA:

This informative session will focus on enhancing collaboration between Community Mental Health providers and Special Education teams to better support students, families, and successful transitions into adulthood.

Participants will gain valuable insight into:

• Special education eligibility requirements
• Referral and placement processes
• Effective transition planning
• The roles of programs such as Woodland Developmental Center and Next STEP
• Strategies for improving communication, shared planning, and coordinated services between schools and CMH providers

By strengthening these partnerships, we can help reduce barriers, improve outcomes, and ensure students have access to the educational, community, and adult supports they need to thrive.

Location: CMH Auditorium (virtual option available for staff that work at outlying sites)
