Eating disorders in both adults and youth are often accompanied by co-occurring disorders substance use disorders, and vice versa. During this session, participants will explore why this occurs and the role of underlying issues such as trauma and adverse childhood experiences in process addiction. Statistics, definitions, myths, truths, research and case studies will be discussed.
