This training provides an overview of evolving cannabis use trends in the United States and their implications for clinical practice. Participants will learn to accurately identify and diagnose cannabis use disorder and cannabis withdrawal, while exploring evidence-based answers to common questions regarding cannabis and its effects on cognitive function, anxiety, psychosis, and cannabis hyperemesis syndrome. The session will also highlight practical harm reduction strategies to help address high-risk cannabis use and support patient-centered care.
