About Us

St. Clair County Community Mental Health (SCCCMH) provides comprehensive behavioral health services for adults with mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, and those with substance use disorders. Our approach is centered on personalized care, recognizing that healing involves both mind and body.

The People's Clinic for Better Health, located at our main office, offers primary care services, including treatment for routine illnesses, chronic conditions, and specialist referrals. With SCCCMH and The People's Clinic, individuals benefit from coordinated care by a dedicated treatment team. Genoa Pharmacy, also located at our main office, provides convenient prescription services.

As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), we are committed to providing accessible, coordinated care for mental health and substance use disorders.
