DESCRIPTION:We are excited to offer an upcoming training opportunity with Britt Pionk from RESA: \nThis informative session will focus on enhancing collaboration between Community Mental Health providers and Special Education teams to better support students\, families\, and successful transitions into adulthood. \nParticipants will gain valuable insight into: \n\nSpecial education eligibility requirements\nReferral and placement processes\nEffective transition planning\nThe roles of programs such as Woodland Developmental Center and Next STEP\nStrategies for improving communication\, shared planning\, and coordinated services between schools and CMH providers\n\nBy strengthening these partnerships\, we can help reduce barriers\, improve outcomes\, and ensure students have access to the educational\, community\, and adult supports they need to thrive. \nLocation: CMH Auditorium (virtual option available for staff that work at outlying sites) \nChildren’s hours will be available for attending this training. \n🔗 Register here:\nhttps://wkf.ms/4A4YCBt
